DEPARTMENT OF PROSTHODONTICS

Prosthodontics is a specialty of dentistry that deals with the restoration of chewing, speech and aesthetics by restoring missing or lost teeth with artificial materials and regulating mutual dental relationships. The types of treatment that can be applied according to the number and location of the missing teeth and the condition of the surrounding tissues are crown-bridge prostheses called fixed restorations, partial dentures or complete dentures. With the development of implantology in dentistry, prostheses can also be made with the support of dental implants. Occlusal rehabilitation of jaw joint disorders, as well as prosthetic treatment of deficiencies or deformities in the maxillofacial regions can also be performed within the department.
