PERIODONTOLOGY DEPARTMENT

The Department of Periodontology is a specialty that examines the hard (jawbone) and soft tissues (periodontal ligament and gingiva) that surround and support teeth or dental implants, diagnoses and treats diseases affecting these tissues, and aims to maintain the ideal oral health gained after treatment. In the department; routine scaling, oral hygiene education, subgingival root surface smoothing, gingivectomy, gingivoplasty, crown lengthening, frenectomy, flap operation, free gingival graft operation, subepithelial connective tissue graft operation, dental implant operations, etc. preventive and therapeutic applications are performed.
